Portland Weekend....

A couple weeeks ago I headed down to PDX via the train. What a relief to not have to drive or deal w/ I-5. I kicked back with a good book and a few cups of coffee. Perfection!

Saturday night out was dinner w/ friends and fam @ Meriwether's, after dinner drinks @ Zach's, then hit a couple bars. Super fun!! Here I am posing w/ various members of my family, Lola and a nice pic of Zach Hull.

Summer in the City - West Seattle Style

The Good Lord brought us 80's and 90's last weekend. I had a Girl's Night @ my place- wine, beer, good food and good friends. Fun times!! We hit up Mission for some margaritas and tex-mex food, then went across the street to Wen Yor Chinese restaurant, where they have a bar in the back w/ a DJ and Karaoke! HA too funny.... The outside of Wen Yor is nothing to look at, but don't judge a book by it's cover - just inside was super fun karaoke and dancing. Who knew this little gem lurked right around the corner from me. Man, this new neighborhood of mine is just getting better and better!!

Furry 5K - 95% Rave, 5% Rant

A few weeks ago, Rob, Janni and I did the Furry 5K. This supports the Seattle Animal Shelter. Man, it was crazy dog time - dogs everywhere! ;-) It was a great day, until we got home and I realized I had lost my keys at Seward Park! Grrrr.... not a happy camper. They probably fell out of my vest when I was putting it into my backpack. Anyway, here are some pics from the day:
