Lazy, Rainy Sunday in August

Ummmm...?? Rain all day in August? Something is wrong with this picture. Today was definitely an "indoor" day. I hit the ground running @ 9am with a power clean of our condo- massive loads of laundry, dishwasher all filled up, dusting, organizing and EVEN a run to Goodwill! Talk about Suzy Homemaker.

Here is a pic of our new cat, Little C, enjoying her dad. We also broke out our new George Foreman Grill tonight - Brats and grilled onions were on the menu. Yum!! Apollo helped me out (why does he look angry? hmmmmm...)

Bridal Shower season.... # 2 Jennifer Wilmer

My dear friend Jen Wilmer, is also getting married Sept 20th. Yesterday was her shower at The Barking Frog in Woodinville, WA. It was WONDERFUL food, excellent wine and champagne. Jen's sister Arianne and her mom Lynne were up from Dallas, TX for the event. Here is a pictoral:

Bridal Shower season....#1 Evie Roscoe

A week ago today, I was at bridal shower #1 (two in one week) - this one for my soon-to-be sister in law, Eveline Roscoe, who will be marrying my brother Colin on Sept 20th. It was wonderful! Excellent food, family and friends. The game we played was -"How well do you know Colin"- for every question Evie got wrong, she had to chew a piece of gum. Ummm, she was in squirrel territory by the end! HA

What's coming up??

Where in the world is ML?? Man, talk about a busy summer. I'm all over the place, mostly the Northwest! Sasquatch is getting sick of me messing with him!

This coming weekend I will be in super hot Vancouver, WA (temps expected at 97-100) for my soon to be sister-in-law's bridal shower (Pics to come), The follwing weekend is Bachelorette Jen's shower, then I am laying low for a few weekends....

Finally, the pinnicale of the summer season will be my brother Colin's wedding and Jen's wedding - both on the same day in two different cities! That is so ML's luck!!

Jen, I will record a toast to you on my phone and send it! It will likely be a drunk dial, so be forewarned.

Walla Walla Weekend - Jen's Bachelorette

Wow, What I can I say about a weekend that had it ALL! And only 4 hours from Seattle in the high desert/wine country/breadbasket of Washington State.

So, our very close friend, Jennifer Wilmer, will be married Sept 20th, so myself, Jen, Narrah and Vonna headed out to WW to soak up the sun soak up even more wine (is it possible to have it coming out your pours? no? ok, that would be gross....). We also managed to get in some bachelorette games, toys and SO many jokes/laughing I think my stomach still hurts! Please, enjoy the following pics!!
